TERNS

TERNS is an exploration of the mixture of nostalgia and apprehension that is felt during the changing of seasons. Southern Oregon Composer, David Swensen, utilizes a 4 track cassette recorder as a familiar sonic canvas of his youth to transform synthesized and sampled sounds as well as cassette loops into a melodic soundscape that is at times rhythmically engaging, and at other times may lull you off into a dream.
