Kari Steinert

Growing up surrounded by the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Kari Steinert has been writing music since the ripe age of 3. Inspired by her culture-rich community, Kari developed a deep passion for music, dance, theater, and nature. With the encouragement of her family, Steinert began studying piano and violin, eventually landing opportunities at The Tanglewood Institute and Eastman School of Music. Since then, Kari has spent the last 20 + years composing, arranging, and producing music for a variety of mediums from television and advertising to movie trailers, independent films, and beyond. Steinert's music ranges from deeply moving, to curiously humorous, while always maintaining a strong melodic sense that latches onto the listener and never lets them go.
