If you upload a video to YouTube that includes any of the copyrighted music from Track Club while you don't have an active subscription or haven't connected your Channel ID, you may receive a Content ID Claim.
YouTube’s automated system scans for copyrighted music upon upload. If it finds any, a Content ID Claim is sent from YouTube on behalf of the person or organization that owns the copyright to the music you included in your video. If you don’t have a Track Club subscription or haven't connected your Channel ID, the copyright holder can monetize their music from your video views.
If you have a Track Club subscription and have added your Channel ID in your account settings, you won't receive a claim, and you can immediately monetize your video.
Receiving a Content ID claim has no impact on your YouTube account. A Content ID Claim is different from a copyright strike. Learn more about what a copyright strike is here.
