Mel Kay

Mel Kay is a singer/songwriter currently making waves in Hawaii. She is an Australian born artist with a BA (majoring in voice) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She writes music with a focus on helping people feel heard & that aims to bring light to things we are often taught to keep hidden. In recent years she has leant towards a folk/pop feel with roots in gospel with her single launch - HEAVEN - selling out last year at The Slack Key Lounge in Honolulu. In the past she has written in Funk, EDM, RnB & rock genres & sees her style to be evolving as she continues to grow. Fans of Adele, Regina Spektor, Lorde, & Brooke Fraser will most likely connect to Mel Kay's music.
